Bizzare London
Box 1:
Tour starts by Queen Anne statue at front of St Paul's Cathedral & finishes at Leadenhall Market
Box 2:
£12 adult, £10 under 18s/students, £40 family of 4.

There's no getting away from the fact that the ancient Square Mile is pretty odd. It has peculiar traditions and bewildering ceremonies which have been taking place for centuries and a deep seated individuality rooted in nearly a millennium of self rule.

We have unravelled the most whacky of these customs, and also found physical evidence tucked away in the old streets and courtyards which offers up the most extraordinary stories.

Focusing on the bizarre and wonderful, we will go in search of a pair of devils, a church mummy, unicorns and shakespeare's local pub.

If you want to explore a different side to London - dare we say a more colourful side - which you won't find on the tourist trail, and also see some magnificent old churches, monuments, architecture and pubs, then this tour will exceed all expectations!

“Bizarre Walk - Indeed it Was”
I went on the Bizarre Walk with Matt at the weekend. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour seeing parts of London which wouldn't catch your eye ordinarily and supported by bizarre stories and facts which you would never get to know from another tour. If you want to get off the beaten track and find out another side of London then you should try this tour.

We went on the 'Bizarre London' tour which took us around the City of London area. Matt was our guide and although we two were the only people on the tour Matt gave us the full works and really took trouble to make sure that we had a good time. He showed us all sorts of places which we would never have seen if we had been on our own. He was friendly and knowledgeable and the information he gave us about each place was just enough and not too much! The length of the tour - about one and a half hours -was also just right for us. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and Matt as a guide.
