Quite simply the most beautiful walk in London...

We begin at the wonderful St Paul's Cathedral. This is where Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer. It is the church Winston Churchill was so desperate to save during the Blitz, a beacon of hope if you will. As we then cross the Thames, fans of Harry Potter will remember the Millennium Bridge from The Half Blood Prince, and those of you keen on modern art can do no better than the Tate Modern.

Of course Shakespeare left his mark on this wonderful city, and walking along the river past the lovingly remade Globe Theatre you can almost sense the rowdy atmosphere of Elizabethan times. Nearby are the wonderfully evocative remains of the great Winchester Palace. Fortunately the Clink next door is now a museum rather than a notorious prison!

Crossing the famous London Bridge, we then pass the great docks of Victorian times, the WW2 warship HMS Belfast, and end up with perhaps the best view in London, looking across the river Thames towards the ancient Tower of London, site of executions, famous prisoners, ravens and beefeaters. And spanning the river towards the Tower is the most iconic bridge in the world, Tower Bridge.

Quite simply unmissable!

We've just come home from a fabulous week in London, UK! We booked several walking tours because there's so much to see, and we wanted to get a good taste of everything. Our first 2 tours were Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and Essential London. Our guide for Changing of the Guard was Phill Pym. Phill is absolutely great! He brought us to the best viewing locations for fully experiencing the Changing of the Guard (which is not standing in front of the gates of Buckingham for 2+ hours, or jostling for position by the Victoria Memorial). Phill shared great stories & history, and tips for sightseeing throughout the rest of our trip.

Our second walking tour that day was happily also led by Phill, and as it was kind of a cool & dreary day, my husband & I were the only folks who turned up, so it was a private tour of Essential London sights. Phill took us through Trafalgar Square, past the National Gallery, down Whitehall to Westminster, again brimming with the history behind all the sights along the way, and tips for the rest of our trip! His recommendations for the Beating the Retreat ceremony, and viewing the Churchill War Rooms were excellent! Thank you Phill!

On Sunday, we took another walking tour - this time Unmissable London, which started out in front of St. Paul's Cathedral. This afternoon, our guide was the awesome Augusta Harris who guided us from St. Paul's, across the Thames and along Bank Side, past Southwark Cathedral, the Clink Prison & The Globe Theater (among other sights). Augusta told us fascinating stories of the history of all these places, from the year 1066 through to present day. We were the only people who showed up for this tour once again, so it was a very personal experience.

Both Phill & Augusta are warm, funny & SMART, and you can tell they really enjoy sharing the history of London with their clients. We never felt rushed and both guides actually took a little more time that the stated time of the tours. When we come back toLondon, we will definitely be booking with Fun London Tours & taking in the sights with Phill & Augusta!

We had the most incredible tours with Matt while visiting London and would highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting London. We started our trip with theUnmissable London Tour. We got a great orientation of the city with lots of facts highlighted by Matt's fun stories. Our group was small and he was happy to answer any questions. The next day we went on the Buckingham Palace tour. It was the best way to see the changing of the guards. We all had so much fun while keeping up with the procession. We even had the chance to hear the band play one of my favorite songs, 'Summertime.' These are the best tours because they make it personalized and add an element of fun to the experience!

We ( two adults and three children) took three tours with Agusta. All three were absolutely fantastic.
Changing of the guards, essential London tour and the unmissable London.

Changing of the guards is a must. We really enjoyed it. At times you will be marching with the guards. Agusta was very efficient and informative. She got us to the best spots and behind the scene of this event. Frankly this is the best tour in London do not miss it.

Essential walking London tour is a very private tour and is very useful to do it on your first day in London to get to know where everything are. Agusta took us to all essential sights and set us on our way to explore London later. She tried to personalize it and gave us insider tips of London that as a tourist you would have not known otherwise, we combined this tour on the same day as changing of the guards. As the name suggests this tour takes and points out essential London sights in a short time, it sets you to go and explore these sights efficiently later on on your own.

The unmissable London walking tour takes you to other back corners of London and the unmissable parts. Again we enjoyed every moment if this tour. As the name suggests it is unmissable.Agusta told us what to do in Tower of London later to make most of our time. Essential tips. Fantastic experience. The number one tour guide,
Her experience is second to non. Thank you Agusta and thank you Matt ( although we never met you) for organizing this fantastic and fun London tours. She is such a helpful and a lovely person.
I cannot highly recommend this company enough. Enjoy it and have lots of fun as we did.
