Meet by the Goddess Diana Fountain just outside Green Park station.
This is a wonderful tour of the royal quarter of London where we will see the famous Buckingham Palace, and also the less well known St James Palace, once home to the notorious King Henry VIII.
It’s an action packed walk, as we will enjoy both Green Park and St James Park, The Mall, Clarence House, and to cap it off, the incredible Change of the Lifeguard ceremony, involving the King’s Horse Guards.
This tour is for anybody who would like to see the guards, but stay away from the crowds, and also have a slower paced and relaxed tour compared to our popular change of the guard tour. And of course, if you like horses, you’ll particularly love it!
Please note that we will not go inside the palaces. Also, we will see the change of the guard ceremony involving horse guards on this tour, not the change of the guard at Buckingham Palace involving foot guards with bearskin hats.
March update: In the lead up to the Coronation in May, the Army have been making last minute changes to the schedule without any notice.
Disclaimer: The British Army can alter the date of the Guard Change Ceremony, and can change or cancel it at their discretion.
