Arguably the most incredible part of London, the Square Mile still bears the scars of Roman occupation, covered riverbeds, religious power and financial muscle.

On this tour we will wind through the ancient alleys of Cornhill, paying attention to what’s beneath our feet, above our heads, as well as the imposing buildings and historical detail on every street corner.

We’ll go looking for the terrifying Cornhill Devils and hear the story of why they keep a watchful eye over Londoners to this day; discover the church which is said to be a centre of evil; and locate the site of our very first coffee shop.

So if you work in the area and can pop out for lunch, or if you fancy a whirlwind tour of a fascinating part of London, then join this tour!
