Buckingham Palace Entrance Tickets & Changing the Guard

2 HOUR TOUR
Royal London

July to September

For a very limited period of the year, Buckingham Palace opens its doors to visitors. Discover the grandeur, marvel at the majesty and soak up the sumptuous interiors of the Royal Residence of King Charles III. We'll navigate the crowds and sort out all the ticketing and logistics so that you can really enjoy the moment.

Before entering Buckingham Palace, your guide will provide you with a unique insight into the Change of the Guard ceremony. At Fun London Tours we have been providing the most highly acclaimed Change of the Guard tour, and are recommended by the Changing-Guard.com website.

Tickets to both this tour and Buckingham Palace sell out fast, so make your booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment!

Please note that our guides do not accompany you inside Buckingham Palace. If the full Changing the Guard ceremony is affected by the weather, we will see a scaled down version of the ceremony, known as the 'Wet Change', where we still see guards, but musicians will stay inside to protect their instruments.
Marvel at the majesty of Buckingham Palace - fast track entry with your tickets
Allow a guide to take the stress away of navigating the ceremony, crowds and entrance to Buckingham Palace
Enjoy the Change of the Guard ceremony with a passionate expert
Witness a ceremony whose history and splendour is beyond compare
March alongside the Band!

This tour enables you to see two of the most extraordinary spectacles in London in the most exciting and seamless way.

Our tour shows you the ceremony in a FUN way, not endlessly standing around and battling with the crowds. We march with the guards!

We also navigate you to the entrance of Buckingham Palace, and help you get inside. (This isn’t always straightforward, especially with the large post- Changing the Guard crowds and closed roads to navigate).

Starting Point:
Meet outside the Methodist Central Hall in Westminster
Finishing Point:
Buckingham Palace
Times & Date:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
The walking tour will last around 2 hours, then you have time to enjoy the palace.
Note that on Sundays the ceremony is slightly different. There are still guards and bands, but the event is called the Sunday Parade rather than the Change of the Guard.
Is the Change of the Guard tour suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility?

The Changing of the Guard Tour requires a good level of mobility as we will be marching alongside the Guards and there is at least one set of steps to navigate, so it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

How do I recognise the Guide?

Our guide will be carrying a Fun London Tours flag.

What do I need to bring? Are there any toilet/refreshment breaks?

We would suggest dressing sensibly for the predicted weather conditions. So a raincoat or small umbrella can be a good idea with the notoriously changeable weather in England! As the tours usually last a maximum of two hours, we will not be stopping for breaks, although we will endeavour to start and finish near to public facilities and shops. We would recommend bringing some water, and using the public facilities before coming on the tour.
