Angie
Angie is a born and bred Londoner. As a child her father took her on countless journeys around the city, sparking her interest with descriptions and stories, and from that point on her love of London continued to grow.
If she is not leading your tour, you may find her guiding people around Highgate Cemetery, where she has volunteered since 2009. Angie has also volunteered as a guide at St Paul’s Cathedral, and today is a full-time guide specialising in Dickens, Crime & Punishment, Legal London, Changing the Guard and Jack the Ripper (where she gets to wear a top hat!)
When not guiding, Angie takes full advantage of London’s museums, historic buildings, and lovely parks. She lives with 3 beautiful cats in an old Victorian conversion which is making her quite a DIY enthusiast - something she never thought would happen!
She feels that Dickens’ description of London as a Magic Lantern is a beautiful way to describe the city she is proud to call home, and is looking forward to sharing its amazing history with you.
