Liar Liar London Guided Walking Tour
Box 1:
Tour Starts outside Monument Station, Fish St Hill Exit. 1.5 hours. Finishes near Bank
Box 2:
Available as private tour - please email for details

This family friendly London walking tour is for those of you who want to go off the beaten track, discover the old Square Mile, but also to be entertained by hearing about some of the most extraordinary moments in London’s life.

Matt, our acclaimed City of London guide, will take you on a mesmerising journey through the old and new streets of the Square Mile, plotting a course through Dickensian alleyways, old courtyards, strangely named streets, taking in the brilliantly named Cheesegrater and Gherkin, and past incredible old churches and institutions but keeping an eye out for the smaller detail which you may miss along the way.

But this is a tour with a twist. At each location Matt will provide you with three stories, two of which are true, but one false. Sometimes fact is more surprising than fiction! All you have to do is guess which one is the lie!

So much fun for families, couples, and groups of all ages, the Liar Liar Tour is an interactive, entertaining and refreshingly different tour!

Liar Liar - Excellent tour!”

I've done a hell of a lot of walking tours in my time and I'd have to say this is the best one I've ever done. Really fun format where the group gets split into teams and then at each stop the guide gives you three facts, one of which is a lie, and you then have to guess which one is the lie.

Matt was our guide and he is excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic Liar, Liar Tour
5 of 5 stars

We booked this walking tour for the Women's Institute and we had a fabulous time. We have been on many walking tours around the City of London but this tour was by far the most fun and interactive. We spilt into teams and competed against each other to work out which was fact or fiction. It was the fastest hour and a half and we will definitely be booking another tour with Matt. As a group of Londoners, we learnt lots on the tour too which is a bonus.

Liar Liar Our Pants were on Fire!

A fun and different tour which was certainly what we needed to cheer us taxidermists up! We had a proper laugh listening to and discussing Matt's facts and fictions and working out which one was the lie. We won the quiz, goes without saying (and we weren't at all competitive ) We even saw pigeons mating and a special door used by pixies. Interesting trip delivered by a top bloke and in the words of that American man..We'll be back

"Liar Liar Tour"
Went on the "Liar Liar" tour today and had a BRILIANT time - really good fun - I highly recommend this. Matt was brilliant and has so much knowledge, very easy to talk to, good fun and very friendly. My husband worked in London for 9 years and he didn't even know the places that Matt took us to - and the answers to the fun questions we were asked. Will definitely be doing more tours with Fun Tours. Thanks Matt for a brilliant afternoon.
More fun than any of the others

As a Londoner I should know things about London but after going on Matt Gedge's Liar Liar Fun Tour of London I realised I didn't. My friend and I had a thoroughly good afternoon and Matt makes it so much fun. Not too many facts and dates to take in but actually the way he did this Liar Liar tour made me remember more. He is a very nice guy and a great tour guide. I recommend this tour to anyone either here on holiday or like me, a Londoner. Always something you can learn about this wonderful city.

"Liar Liar Tour - great fun for all ages"

We did the Liar Liar tour today and would agree with other reviewers, it is great fun. Matt was a super guide. It isn't a substitute for an extensive tour of the London sites with all the history which first time visitors might be after but for those looking for the quirkier angles it was just the right balance of facts, things to see and fun. One thing to add - we had 2 children with us aged 8 and 10 and they enjoyed it every bit as much as the adults (and they helped us win!).

We went on the Liar Liar Walking Tour and it's was so much fun. Our tour guide Matt Gedge was so informative but not at one point boring! Great day out and would recommend to anyone!

Liar Liar - the best tour, no lie

We are a family with two kids (12 and 10) and we enjoyed Liar Liar so much, we ended up doing two more outings with Fun London Tours. The sites were interesting and varied, and the pick-the-wrong-fact format kept everyone on their toes. But our favourite thing about all the tours (we also did Changing the Guard and Secret London) was our guide Matt. For one thing, he is super-organised. He responded to emails promptly, and was there early to meet us each time. His tours are well-paced, and he has a great knowledge-base. Even more importantly, you can actually hear what he says because he doesn't take large groups. He also has a very easy-going, relaxed way about him, so that it feels like you are sightseeing with a friend, rather than a tour guide. Our kids adored him. We highly recommend doing one of his tours (but especially Liar Liar).
